One match. Every Sunday.

One person.
One week.

No feed to scroll, no one to swipe past — just someone worth a real conversation, new each Sunday. Curious sooner? A short daily Discover list lets you reach out yourself, postcard-style.

Photo comes into focus once you talk

Also team rainy-day hikes?

A postcard, not a like.
How it works

Less choosing. More knowing.

You take a short personality test once. After that, Sundae does the choosing — and gives you something rare in dating: time.

01 — SUNDAY

Your match arrives

Every Sunday, Sundae introduces you to one person chosen for you. No match, or it ended early through no fault of yours? It tries again on Tuesday.

02 — DISCOVER

Nothing to swipe. Something to write.

Twelve people near you, refreshed daily. Send a short postcard instead of a like — write enough back and forth and you can both lock in a match.

Sent, not swiped.
03 — PERSONALITY

Personality comes first

Their photo starts blurred. You get their personality, prompts and interests first — the photo comes into focus once you're actually talking.

Each match runs for up to a week, and your feedback quietly shapes who's next.

Sundae+

A little more, for the curious.

Sundae works fully for free. Sundae+ is optional — it adds depth for people who want to understand their matches, and themselves, a bit better.

Questions

Good to know.

What if I don't get a match one Sunday?

It happens, especially early on or in smaller cities. Sundae keeps looking, tries again mid-week with a slightly wider range, and introduces someone as soon as there's a good fit.

Can I browse other people?

Not in the swipe-and-scroll sense. Alongside your one match, Discover shows twelve people near you, refreshed daily — the same twelve for everyone. Send any of them a short postcard; write back and forth enough and you can both agree to a guaranteed match next Sunday.

When is the photo revealed?

Gradually, once both of you have sent a few messages — or after a set amount of time. It's designed so appearance isn't the first thing you react to.

Is Sundae free?

Yes. Matching, chatting, your daily Discover selection and one postcard a day are free. Sundae+ (6,99 € / month) adds optional depth — more postcards, every match photo, deeper insights.

What data does Sundae collect?

The essentials to match you: your verified phone number, profile, personality answers, location and your feedback. Politics and religion are optional. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
